The DaVinci Robotic platform is used for most of my complex gynecologic surgeries.

Use of this platform allows patients to:

  • undergo complex surgery with 4-5 tiny abdominal incisions (vs. a larger incision as with a c-section)

  • go home the same day

  • return to work faster

  • use minimal pain medication during recovery

  • resume daily activities within 1-2 weeks

We perform the following procedures with robotic surgery:

  • Myomectomy (Fibroid removal)

  • Hysterectomy (uterus removal)

  • Resection of endometriosis

  • Ovarian cystectomies

If you are a patient who is undergoing IVF or other infertility treatment and you need your polyp/fibroid removed so your treatment is not delayed, please indicate that when you make an appointment.

Endometriosis

Like fibroids, endometriosis is a huge medical problem. It takes an average of 7 visits to medical specialists prior to the diagnosis being made.

As such, women are suffering in pain and are missing important treatments that will make their quality of life better as well as improve their fertility.

Endometriosis is a surgical diagnosis. While many women get lots of imaging like ultrasounds, MRI, and CT scans, these cannot always diagnose endometriosis accurately.

There are many treatment options for endometriosis. Please see your gynecologist to learn more and get treated!

Got Fibroids? I got you.

You are at the right place.

Fibroids are a HUGE problem with nearly 80% of women being diagnosed with one by the time they are 50 years of age. Over the past decade, I have developed a special interest in treating women with fibroids. So much so, that I have created an entire website dedicated to Fibroid care: The Fibroid Doc.

On The Fibroid Doc site, you can find all the information you need about how fibroids affect pain, bleeding, and fertility. You will also learn about the various treatment options available. Go there now!
