• Our niches are surgical Gyn and menopause/sexual medicine

• We do not do Obstetrics (except for first Trimester Confirmation is performed)

• We operate out of Alta Bates Summit Medical Center, Berkeley and Oakland campuses.

What does doing a great job look like?

• Seeing an average of 10 patients per day (yes, PER DAY!)

• Closing your charts by the end of the day

• Answering any portal messages in a timely manner

• Eager to be the primary surgeon or assist in the operating room

• Building a full patient panel by collaborating and engaging with the community

• Hosting talks/workshops in the community to build trust

• Taking ownership and sharing leadership and supervisory roles, including team building

This opportunity is perfect for the doctor who:

• Is a board certified gynecologist or urogynecologist

• Is trained on the robotic platform

• Wants to work part time. TWO days/week to start with the opportunity to build to 3-4 days/week

About Dr. Prabakar:

Dr. Cheruba Prabakar is a board certified OBGYN, fellowship trained minimally invasive surgeon, and a certified menopause practioner through the North American Menopause society. After almost a decade in corporate medicine, she decided to pursue her dream of running her own private practice. She founded Lamorinda Gynecology & Surgery in October 2022, to provide boutique gynecologic care to women through all phases of life. She focuses on quality over quantity and enjoys this practice model. She is looking for an excellent physician to join her team!
