How to Insert Estrogen in A Vaginal Ring?
This vaginal ring has 3 months worth of estrogen in it! It’s easy to insert. You won't feel it. You won't feel it during sex. You don't need to remove it. It's really easy. And if you don't want to be applying medication every day or every week, or you're not going to remember this, the E-string is great because it lasts for three months. So a lot of patients love it. So this is another option for vaginal estrogen.
Do not confuse this with the other vaginal ring called the femring.
Femring is actually systemic hormone therapy that is delivered through the vagina. So that is a completely different dose, and you use it differently. But the E-string is really for vaginal estrogen.
If you're somebody who's having painful sex, feeling dry, irritated and your doctor recommends vaginal estrogen, this is one of the ways in which estrogen can be delivered. So it's pretty cool.
